Enzo Obiso was born in Campobello di Mazara. He lives and works in Turin. Completes his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, a city where he began exhibiting his work in 1976 at the gallery Documenta. At the center of his research is the human being, through their places of belonging, nature and landscape as a refuge of memory, objects, the body. In search of a personal identity mediated through the confrontation with otherness. He is artistic director of Phos Centro Fotografia Torino, focused on the production, dissemination and enhancement of photography and visual arts and of which he is co-founder in 2011. His works are part of numerous public and private Italian and international collections.
